Amanda is a clinical psychologist with 20 years of experience in rehabilitation, specialising in working with children with spinal cord injuries or neurological impairments.Jody is a paediatric nurse consultant who works in the community and has 26 years of experience in paediatric rehabilitation and disability.
They discuss the transition from primary school to high school and the key issues that may arise when children are in the significant shift, such as
- dealing with questions from other children about their disabilities
- finding commonalities with their peers
- dealing with bullying
- and more
