Trevor Annetts, one of the founding members of Spinal Cord Injuries Australia sadly passed away recently.

Trevor, who had a severe spinal cord injury, was a fierce advocate for disability rights in the community, and was part of a group who, back in 1966, were determined to find alternative independent accommodation in a world where being permanently housed within a nursing home was the only option for people with high level disabilities.

From that moment, Trevor helped form the Australian Quadriplegic Association, or as you know it, Spinal Cord Injuries Australia.

He also helped implement a pilot program in the early 1980’s for recording traffic reports that would eventually become our Geo and Data team.

Without Trevor we wouldn’t have the organisation that we do today.
