SpinalCure Australia is seeking $46 million in Federal funding over five years to establish a national neurostimulation Research and Treatment Program that could change the lives of Australians impacted by spinal cord injury (SCI).
Project Spark is the collaboration between Australia’s leading spinal cord injury (SCI) specialists – SpinalCure Australia, Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA) and SCIA.
Project Spark aims to test, validate and develop neurostimulation treatments for people with spinal cord injury, through a 5-year program of trials and community studies across Australia. The goal is to get the evidence required for Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval and mainstream adoption.
