NDIS participants can now use their Core funding to purchase Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) to ensure that NDIS participants have safe access to their supports during COVID-19.
Participants can use their Core funding where it is required to access their reasonable and necessary supports as well as the purchase of RAT kits, in line with the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), for their support workers as needed.
This announcement, made January 24 2022, comes shortly after the announcement that Concession Card holders can get up to 10 free RATs over a three month period.
