Guide to the Resource Hub

Information for people with disability, curated by people with disability

About the Hub

The Resource Hub is your gateway to information related to spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities.

You can browse resources on a broad range of topics, such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), exercise and rehabilitation, continence, accessible accommodation, travel and more.

You can watch videos, listen to episodes of our “Have the Nerve” podcast, visit useful websites and read articles about a variety of different topics that will increase your knowledge on disability relevant to you. These will help you make better informed decisions and raise awareness of services available to you.

How to search for information

You can search for resources by using the search bar or the Topics and Types filters in the blue banner at the top of the Resource Hub homepage.

  • The Search Bar works like Google and other search engines. If you are looking for information, on topics such as the NDIS, type the keyword “NDIS” into the search bar and click the blue search button. This will generate a list of resources for you to choose from.
  • The Topics filter is located on the right side of the search bar. Click on the arrow and select from the list of topics. You can select as many topics as you like.
  • The Types filter lets you choose whether you want to browse videos, podcasts, articles, reports, fact sheets, toolkits to websites. Click on the arrow to browse through the different content types. Similar to the Topics filter, you can click on as many as you like.
