Driver App Information

The latest update was released on the 7th of December.

The Upgraded Driver App features a suite of new functionality. The improved app aims to streamline Wheelchair Accessible Taxi (WAT) drivers’ access to current and upcoming bookings. It is avaliable on both App Store and Google Play. Drivers will now have access to:

  • A coverboard to view and accept available current bookings and subscribe to future bookings.
  • Multiple dispatch offers at the same time.
  • Multi-trip acceptance, providing drivers with the ability to accept multiple bookings (provided timing allows).
  • Enhanced reminders, sent at all stages of the booking cycle including, upcoming, on route, start and finish.
  • Wheelchair Book & Ride is the NSW Government funded centralised booking service for wheelchair accessible taxis in the Sydney Metropolitan area, operated by Spinal Cord Injuries Australia.

    Customers can book WATs via online at TransportNSW or by calling 13 9000.

    Networks must register their drivers and vehicles with the CBS to allow access to the Driver App and WAT bookings.

    Once your registration has been completed, you will be invited to download the driver app from either the Apple store, or Playstore. WAT vehicle bookings will be dispatched via this driver app. You will be able to use your personal smart phone to access the app, which will connect you to customers who need wheelchair accessible vehicles.
