Sexual Rights, Sex work and Disability with Rachel Wotton

We featured the thesis about the sexual rights of people with disability written by Rachel Wotton, a sex worker living in Inner Sydney, Churchill Fellow and PhD candidate at Western Sydney University. Her PhD explores the experiences of people with disabilities who access sex workers in Australia.

In the latest podcast episode, Susan and Rachel discuss the misconceptions of two marginalised communities, the legacy of her 2011 documentary Scarlet Road. Meanwhile, Rachel shares with us how her work has helped many people with disabilities to find independence and confidence and how she helped get sex work on the NDIS.
