Our Representative Advocacy team had put together workshops for participants of the NDIS, those who work closely with people who have disabilities and those who wanted to be more informed to talk through the legislative changes made in National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) that commenced in October 2024.
In workshop one, Tony Jones addresses concerns participants have about the changes including short and medium term accommodation, carer support and wheelchair expenses.

In workshop two Tony goes into more detail about the amendments and how they affect you. He talks about topics such as categorising what is reasonable and necessary, new management of funding rule and plan variations.

Our Representative Advocacy team hold regular meet and greets with their Advocacy Community Networks, Online Network Forums and Workshops about subjects like these! Visit our Events page for more details or email representative@scia.org.au.
