    Open letter from the disability sector to the NDIA

    SCIA is one of 20 organisations calling for greater accountability and transparency from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) regarding the results from settlements with the Administrative Appeals Tribunals (AAT).

    Currently, 97% of NDIS appeals lodged with the AAT are settled privately with details remaining confidential.

    In a statement by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), Senior Solicitor Chadwick Wong said that “transparency and accountability are essential to promoting confidence in the system.”
