    Have you heard about Park’nPay?

    • Liberty Smith

Park’nPay is an initiative by the New South Wales government to deliver a smart parking system that gives drivers live parking information and allows them to pay for parking on their phone.

The phone app allows users to easily find a parking spot and pay for it.

    Accessible Park’nPay

People with mobility issues can find accessible parking using the accessible Park’nPay portal or the Park’nPay mobile phone app (available on the App Store and Google Play).

There are currently 1379 accessible parking spots available throughout Sydney with the rollout of sensors giving live information about the availability of parking spots for people with mobility parking permits.

Unfortunately the availability of real time accessible parking information is currently limited to 11 LGAs: Bayside Council, Burwood Council, City of Canada Bay Council, Cumberland Council, Hunters Hill Council, Liverpool Council, Mosman Council, Northern Beaches Council, Ryde City Council, Sutherland Council and Waverley Council; with Canterbury Bankstown Council and Inner West Council coming soon.

    Park’nPay can help customers find:

    • available spaces at commuter car parks around public transport hubs
    • accessible parking spots (for motorists with mobility parking permits)
    • locations of electric vehicle charging stations
    • private driveways to rent.
