Inspiring Connections: Uncle Gerry Moore Joins SCIA RAP Committee for NAIDOC Week 8 July

The SCIA RAP Committee is proud to welcome Uncle Gerry Moore, OAM, a respected senior Aboriginal Elder from Wreck Bay in the Jervis Bay Territory, to our head office in Mascot on Tuesday, 8th July 2025, as part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations.

We are committed to ongoing education, learning, and building meaningful connections with our First Nations peoples.

Uncle Gerry brings with him a deep well of knowledge and powerful stories. He will be sharing his insights during a special yarning session focused on this year’s NAIDOC Week theme Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy. He will also reflect on the path forward for all Australians. We look forward to an engaging exchange of ideas, questions, and culture, followed by a morning tea open to all colleagues within the building.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Uncle Gerry and his colleague, Ms Lisa Ogle from the Shoalhaven Walking Together Alliance Inc, for joining us as our special guests and helping us honour this important occasion.
