In the September 2024 Representative Advocacy Online Network Forum, we heard from Suzie Stollznow, Systemic Advocacy and Social Impacts Manager provide an update on our advocacy work including:
- Hear from Siobhan Clair from Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA) about the Federal and State Governments’ official response to The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability.
- Be updated on the NDIS Amendment Bill 2024 changes and how these changes might affect you.
- Meet members of the SCIA Advocacy Advisory Committee and find out how you can support them to establish activated community networks across NSW.
- Feedback Loop- we will provide an update on SCIA initiatives and advocacy campaigns.
