Together with Neuroscience Research Australia, NeuroMoves are recruiting participants for two clinical trials called the Get a Grip and the eWALK2 trials.
Get A Grip: This trial is for people with a cervical spinal cord injury. It involves electrical stimulation of the spinal cord via pads placed over the neck and shoulders, paired with arm, hand and breathing exercises 3 times a week, for 6 weeks. eWalk2: This trial is for people with an incomplete thoracic or cervical spinal cord injury (C2 – T12). It involves electrical stimulation of the lumbar spine paired with treadmill and overground exercises, 3 times a week for 12 weeks to improve walking ability. This trial is a randomised controlled trial where half the participants will receive a placebo dose of electrical stimulation.
Both clinical trials are part of Project Spark, supported by SpinalCure and there is no cost to you to participate. Please reach out to the NeuRA team via email ewalk@neura.edu.au or phone (02 9399 1887) if you are interested and would like to hear more about the trials and how to be involved.
