How to leave a gift in your will to SCIA
SCIA appreciates that decisions about your will need to be made in your own time.
Here are the basics if you are considering leaving money to SCIA:
- State in your will that you would like to leave SCIA a gift. It is recommended that you use a solicitor or professional will-writer to make sure your will is legal and valid.
- Include SCIA’s full name, to make sure the money goes to the right place. This is: Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, ABN 93 001 263 734, 1 Jennifer Street, Little Bay NSW 2036
- If you’ve already written us into your will, we’re very grateful and would love it if you could please let us know.
Over the years we have received bequests from different types of people - even if your circumstances mean that you can’t donate during your lifetime, you can still support SCIA by leaving a gift in your will.
We would love to know that you have included SCIA in your will, however if you do not wish to, we understand your decision. We will always respect your privacy. Any information you give us regarding your will is held in strict confidence and nothing is publicly disclosed during your lifetime without your expressed permission.
