this new world we find ourselves in since COVID-19 hit is crazy on so many levels, a huge thing for me is trying to stay focused on my day to day norms as much as possible and avoiding the hype on socials as much as possible. sometimes a break from constant bad news is all we need to feel a little less stressed or anxious, well that’s how i feel anyway.

Since being in ISO I’ve tried to still keep my day as normal as i can, logging into work at the required time, taking breaks for coffee and lunch like normal, and either trying to train in the morning or straight after im done work, so far this has kept me from watching nothing but Netflix and constantly going to the fridge for snax.

how’s everyone else managing there days?

Trying to find new ways to find daily life exciting still, so I’m baking, then handing off to my neighbours to eat! (Because I can’t afford to eat it, and they’ve been super generous.)

I’m also working on some small fitness skills related to my sport. Playing basketball means for me, working on my ball handling, so doing some dribbling skills and stuff on the balcony in turn allows me not to lose as much receptiveness when we eventually are freed. And drinking copious amounts of tea also helps. I hear you on the snacking part. That has been a challenge. I’ve stopped ordering typical snack foods, and have kept a bunch of veggies on stand by (as I’m not a fan of fruit) to crunch on. Attempting a homemade dip this week!

Whats your feel good story of the week?
