Learning to do things differently
We never thought we’d all be at home…hoarding toilet paper…or rapidly changing how we provide services.
Over the past few months we have all had to learn to do things differently. Whether it’s been shopping online, using Zoom or FaceTime to catch-up with family and friends or for SCIA, moving our services online whilst staff work from home.
For our Peer & Family Support Team this has been a difficult time. Normally based in NSW’s major Spinal Units, the team is currently working from home using our new online Telehealth program, our online Forum or the phone to keep providing the vital help and support needed for those with a spinal cord injury, and their families.
Can you donate today?
We’re asking you to donate today as our Peer & Family Support is not fully funded.
Although we do receive some funding for this wonderful service, sadly this doesn’t cover all the costs to provide this vital program. There is no other service, like SCIA’s Peer & Family Support, which provides that invaluable lived experience and knowledge for people who have new spinal cord injury.
To help us provide support to those with a new spinal cord injury, and their loved ones.
