SpineCare Conference 2011
When: March 10 - 11, 2011

Medical, nursing and allied health professionals, as well as families affected by childhood spinal conditions are invited to participate in the inaugural SpineCare conference on innovation and practice in childhood spinal conditions.
The conference program presents an opportunity for information sharing, skill building and networking within this field. Conditions covered at the conference include
- Acquired spinal cord injury
- Transverse Myelitis
- Scheuermann's Disease
- Idiopathic Scoliosis
- Spinal Syrinx and
- Spinal Tumors.
Keynote speakers include notable international experts A/Prof MJ Mulcahey, Randal R. Betz, MD and Lawrence Vogel, MD all from the Shriners Hospitals for Children, USA and Bonita Sawatzky from International Collaboration on Repair Discoveries, Canada.
On Friday 11 March Kierre Ireland and Alana Tickle from SCIA's Walk On Program will present about the program's suitability for children, in a session about activity below the level of injury for children with neurological conditions.
