Corporate Support
If you or your family members work at a large corporation you may find that they have a Corporate Social Responsibility program. SCIA will support you in developing a relationship with the necessary people to gain sponsorship for your participation in the Walk On program.
Golf Days
Hold a Golf day for your work colleagues, clients, and/or suppliers. Ask us for a copy of our Golf Day Fundraising Kit for fundraising ideas.
Trivia Nights
Organise a trivia quiz for work colleagues, friends, clients or general knowledge gurus to prove who really is the smartest of the bunch.
Morning Tea
Have your family, friends or work colleagues bring a plate of food and charge an entry fee to all participants.
Gala Dinner/Masquerade Ball
Why not hold a Masquerade Ball or Gala Dinner? Everyone can get creative and make their own masks. Sell tickets for tables and have auctions, raffles and prizes to be won.
Karaoke Night
Why not hold karaoke night for your friends or for works next social function?
Cinema/Theatre Screening
Approach your local cinema or theatre and see if they will hold a preview screening of a new release movie or stage production. Increase ticket prices by an extra few dollars and sell to friends, family and work colleagues. At the screening have a donations desk to collect extra money or run a raffle with the prize visible to all patrons.
Nintendo/Xbox/Playstation/Wii Competition
Organise a playoff with friends to see who the ultimate computer gamer amongst your group is.
Poker Tournament
Do you have any card sharks within your networks? Perhaps they can help you organise a poker night where a portion of the funds goes to your recovery.
Wine Tasting
Spend an evening tasting fine wine with friends, family or co-workers. Charge an entry fee that covers wine, cheese and a donation. Get your local bottle shop to help you out!
