Harmonisation of disability parking permit schemes in Australia

The Federal government is showing leadership in unifying a program that works for people with a disability throughout Australia. Spinal Cord Injuries Australia’s submission covered a number of topics but largely voiced concern over the misallocation of permits and the issues that arise from too many ineligible people using allocated accessible parking spaces.
