Spinal Cord Injuries Australia (SCIA) is a community organisation involved in the PREVENTION of spinal cord injuries, CARE for those who have a spinal cord injury and the support of research to find a CURE for spinal cord injury.
Reporting to the Senior Employment Consultant, the incumbent will be responsible for clients with an intellectual, psychological or physical disability which affects their ability to access and maintain employment.
The successful applicant will manage a caseload of clients with the responsibility of mentoring, coaching and marketing towards meaningful and sustainable employment under contractual arrangements with DEEWR.
Essential Criteria:
- DES/Stream Services experience in the areas of physical, intellectual and psychological disability including successful outcomes for each individual in employment.
- Client focused with a professional but friendly demeanour and a passion and drive for results
- Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Proven track record in direct and reverse marketing
- A demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills
- Well organised with the ability to adapt to change and to think creatively in order to obtain employment for clients
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with employers, Government and non-Government agencies
- Competent in administration, record keeping and ESS database management.
