John, some companies have cushions for children that might be suitable for you. A small size might have to be a custom order rather that available off-the-shelf. The Independent Living Centre in your state will be able to give details of the various products. See www.ilcaustralia.org for contacts in your state. Your message is visible here but joining the forum lets you post messages in specialised discussion areas.

Debra, after injury there is an initial period of recovery as the swelling reduces. Intensive exercise therapy has also led to further recovery. For information about specific levels of injury check out PVA's "Expected Outcomes" booklet @ http://www.pva.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=8093

Hey guys, i have been talking to an OT at the local independent living center and they said that using a oven for cooking can be quite difficult from a wheelchair. I have talked to a T4 para and she said that an oven aid would be good for getting baked foods from the oven to the bench top and might be able to reduce burns and spills. Just wondering if anyone else felt the same way? If you have time i would greatly appreciate it if you filled out this survey Cheers, Matt http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22AQW9MZP94

I am searching for advice on whether I can buy a polymer gel type cushion smaller than the standard size (40x40 cm) for my use when travelling. I am not sure whether I have to join the SCI Forum to ask this question. Please advise me Regards
