Wheelchair users study group exchange

The Rotary Club of Crows Nest is organising a Group Study Exchange (GSE) to Arizona for five wheelchair users with a disability in April/May 2009.  The Club will also host a team of five people with a disability from Arizona in Sydney for two weeks.  Applications are now open to people from the Sydney Metropolitan and Hunter region who would like to join the GSE.

Members of the selected GSE team will travel to Arizona for two weeks to experience North American culture, to see the sights and to make valuable professional contacts.  They will also meet with local Rotary Clubs to tell them about living in Australia and to network and exchange ideas.

Applicants must be able to travel independently, be aged between 25 and 40, and do not have to join Rotary to be part of the team.  After submitting an application, prospective team members will be interviewed by a Selection Panel, who will make a decision about the final composition of the team.

Applications for team members close on Friday 29 August.
