Enable NSW is seeking more consumers of its services to join its Review and Appeals Panels.

Successful applicants will form a pool of members to participate in review and/or appeal meetings. Meetings may occur face to face, via teleconference or email. The panels will be used to provide independent expert advice and a recommendation as to whether equipment or service requests which fall outside the program guidelines or are complex in nature should be approved.

EnableNSW is a unit of Health Support Services established to provide central administration of NSW Health disability support programs including:

• the Program of Appliances the Disabled People (PADP);
  
• Artificial Limb Service (ALS); and
  
• home respiratory programs including the Home Oxygen Service, the Adult Home Ventilation Program and the Children's Home Ventilation Program.

The programs administered by EnableNSW provide assistive technology to assist people with a long-term or permanent disability to live and participate in the community. These programs assist approximately 20,000 people each year.

Please note these appointments are non-remunerative however expenses related to travel to meetings will be reimbursed.
